Christmas Caroling Birthday Party We are just starting to plan a caroling party for my daughters 6th birthday in December. Because December is so busy, why not combine some seasonal fun with a birthday party? For our invitations we will make up a caroling book with easy/traditional songs to practice before the party. We are planning to have the guests to our house first to do a craft, perhaps a Santa face or snowman as a prop to some songs? Or decorate large Gingerbread men. Or the children could make something that will be a Christmas gift for someone, e.g.. Mom and Dad (and then wrap it). Simple songs such as repeat after the leader can be practiced as the craft is being done. We well have cake and presents before caroling. I think we will invite parents and siblings to join us for caroling and hot chocolate afterwards. We have bought Santa hats and reindeer antlers and jinglebell necklaces for the children to wear during neighborhood caroling and to keep as loot after, as well as Christmas noisemakers.
