This is an idea for a Christmas party. It can be for girls or boys, ages 9- about 12. For invitations decide a theme, either a winter wonderland party, an around the world CHristmas party, or whatever ideas you have. For winterwonderland, you can take a regular piece of blue cardstock, or cardboardish paper. Cut it out into a card shape. Create a snowman with white paper, and glue it on. add little snow flakes, add the details to the snowman. And include the info on the inside. If your really into it, make a snow globe invitation. Using a jar, little cotton balls for the snowman, snowflakes, and then on the back or underneath the jar list the info. So when your guests gets the jar it will be a beautiful gift they can keep with them. For the house, decorate the outside, with a snowman if it's snowing, try to build a little snowman to have in the front. On the inside hang up baby blue streamers, white streamers on the ceilings and walls. You can also have a small bucket or container, use cotton balls as snow flakes, hang it up somewhere on the ceiling or ceiling fan would be good. So when your guests walk in you can turn the ceiling fan on and cotton ball snowflakes will sprinkle over them. Have a table set up with a radio with Christmas music, walking in a winter wonderland" Have different things on the table, chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate, marshmallows, and more. You can have white sheets covering your couches and furniture as snow. Also you can create green christmas trees out of big sheets of paper, you can decorate them and hang them up, or have the kids decorate them on teams, and whichever team has the most creative gets the prize. Another game idea is having two plain snowmen outside, one on each side of your lawn, next have your kids try and find the items on the list, like carrot noses, button eyes, give them a list for a scavenger hunt. You can also have for dinner, soup, different meat, chips, warm foods, and more. Or make a snowman pizza, make a regular pizza, just add, pepperoni eyes, carrot nose, no one has to eat the carrot, pepperoni or sausage mouth, and so on. Other games can be, snowball fights, or snow toss, like hot potato with a snow ball. You can also use ice cubes. Have the children each get on a team and create a small skit about christmas, film it, the winner can get a small prize. Another game is, you can layout a bunch of winter clothing into two different piles for two different teams, like ear muffs, mittens, puffy jackets, socks, whatever you have, then have each team race to the clothing, put it on, race back tag there partner, then the next person races the other team, and so on, once everyone has had there outfit on, that team wins.
