I'm having a Cocoa Concoction Soiree. The Concoction can be left out for the younger crowd. I am on a tight budget, so I had to be creative. I sent out invitations through a great website: WWW.EVITE.COM. I bought a bunch of Christmas mugs for $.89 each. (This party is for about 15) I bought some pretty decorated Christmas bags and in them I put some candies, a packet of hot chocolate, a homemade chocolate dipped spoon, and a Christmas stirrer. I will fit these in the mugs that will be given as favors at the beginning of the party. The guests will be greeted by a human sized cut out of James Dean. (You can pick any cutout) He will be in a Santa hat and scarf. As the walk in they will have a digital picture taken with them and James. After giving them their favor, I will hand out red and green beaded necklaces that I bought cheap. We will go on to play Xmas trivia games that I copied and pasted from different websites, then printed and cutout. We will make crafts, listen to Christmas music, with the fireplace roaring in the background, and a Snowflake DVD screensaver on the television. All while drinking Cocoa, with or without Kahlua or peppermint schnapps. Egg nog with be available, and lots of sweets. I will greet my guests in Red, white and green clothing, and a jingle bell Christmas headband. I told them in the invitations to dress festive also. The one important thing is decorations everywhere!!!!!!!
