Family Christmas Party Last year my family had a great Christmas Party. We invited all of our extended family. We used green construction paper folded in half and cut out into a Christmas tree and wrote the information inside. They came at about four o'clock and the party ended at eight thirty. When they came in we had a bristle board christmas tree for them to sign. I assigned my son, then 16, to be the drink and snack manager and my daughter, then 11, to be the craft manager. She set up a room that was only for crafts. Some craft ideas are festive coloured bead, jingle bell and pipecleaner braclets, marblized ornaments(clear, round ornaments with paint swished around inside) and handprint reindeer puppets(paper bags with reindeer faces and cutout paper handprints as antlers). Since we don't have a fireplace in our living room we signed out a video of one from the library. You might also be able to find one in a video store. They look real and sound real. For adults you won't have to set anything up, just make sure there's enough room for everyone. Adults will start conversations and such. For supper what we did was our family bought the turkey and the other families each brought a side dish. If you're only having a few families over ask them to bring two side dishes. Supper turned out great. We had a whole lot of different things and most people brought two or three side dishes! Everyone had a great time and it's now a family tradition!
