This party is great for Kids and Teenagers of all ages!! For my 14th Birthday, it was really very hard to decide what to do since I am a December Birthday, and going out side was out of the question since it was really starting to get cold. What I am going to do is is that I am going to have a Christmas Caroling Birthday Party!!! It is going to be great!! This is what I am going to do!! Invitations: I bought the cutest printer paper that has snowflakes on it and at the bottom there are three caroling snowmen!! You can find holiday decorated printer paper at Party stores or office supply stores! On the invitation, I am going to ask the guests to wear warm festive holiday clothing since we will be caroling around my neighborhood and in front of Long's Drug Store!! ( I think these stores are only in CA, but you could carol in front of any grocery or drug store of your choice!)The party will start at 6:30 pm and end at 9:30 pm. When the Guests arrive between 6:30 and 7:00 we will eat a "finger food dinner" Chicken nugets, bagel bites, etc. and then we will make some trail mix to take with us while we are caroling in case we get hungry, and I will also give everybody a wter bottle with there name on it to take with them since we will be singing, we will sure get thirsty!! I have put together a small booklet of Christmas songs with the lyrics on them( I got the songs from www.Santa.net) and stapled them to the invites so that the guests can practice the songs before he party and bring them to the party so they can look at it while they are caroling! After we are done caroling in are neighborhood for about a half an hour or 45 minutes, my mom is going to drive us all to the store and carol in front of it!! ( Make sure you ask the manager of the store a couple of weeks before the party to see if it is okay to carol outside there) Also, be sure to take a cell phone with you and give all the parents of the kids the # of the cell phone that can be reached while you are caroling in case of an emergency. After we are done caroling in front of the store for a about a half an hour- 45 minutes, we will go home to a nicely decored table with holiday paper plates, napkins, and confetti and sing "Happy Birthday" and eat cake and drink hot chocolate( since we will probably be very cold from caroling outside for almost two hours!)Then I will open presents and pass out the goodie bags when the parents arrive at 9:30. For the goody bags I bought Holiday bags from a Party Store and filled them with different flavored candy canes and Holiday Recipes. Hope this brought some ideas for those with December Birthdays! HAVE FUN!
