Easter Party I started out with invites which we made, used a cookie cutter I got from The Party Works and used card stock. You can pick up 1/2 sheets already cut cardstock at paper companies for little or nothing. I copied the cookie cuter design and then added the party invite on the inside and it said hop on over to Address:/Date/Time On the front of the card I added a pompom for the rabbits tail. I have a large drive way and I wrote each persons name in pastel chalks, and Happy Easter and 377 Easter Eggs. I did up $20.00 worth of plastic eggs. Several bags of candy in plastic bags and from there I died real eggs. The real eggs I did in different colors but some had $ Dollar and Cent signs and these were redeemed for prizes. From chocolate bunnies, to suckers and so on. There is always an LUCKY egg and I did a progressive egg hunt. The lucky egg had a SILVER dollar in each section of the progressive egg hunt. Like one was in the mail box. One was in the tree - while the rest of the eggs on the group - they don't look up to see it in the tree. The progressive started out with the toddler and he got 12 eggs all his own. Then we moved into the next section which is bigger and lots of egg for the 7 year olds. Then they moved into a larger are with the 9 year old and lots more eggs. Well by the time we had gotten this far their baskets were totally full and falling over - so had to get them sacks - I mean with 377 eggs you can figure it out. It was so colorful with all the eggs. Then the back yard the entire yard was for the teenager to join in and so all the eggs were collected. They turned them in for prizes. I had around 20 little prizes and with that many eggs, everyone wins something and no one is left out. The favor was an Easter Basket with a plush bunny and each guest got a different color. I picked them up at Target. I got to use up a lot of extra Easter baskets I had collected over the years. The cake was a bunny cake and the center piece. I decorated with pastel balloons and streamers. Another center piece I used is you get a Styrofoam ball and glue jelly beans on it. Put a stick in it and put it in a planter. Jelly Bean Topiary is the effect. I used the traditional pastel plates and napkins. Games we played besides the grand Easter Egg Hunt are Egg and spoon race. Nosey Egg roll - kids line up on a clean floor and relay race the rolling egg with only their nose, and the last game was pass the eggs please. This game you sit in a circle on the floor and use only your feet to pass the egg around the circle. If any one drops the egg they have to eat it! Happy Easter Party to all that attended!
