I just had an Easter party and I wanted to share my ideas.I began by inviting my friends via Evite.I asked them to bring 12 plastic eggs filled,own basket and a plate of something to share.The day of the party I made iced coffee mochas for the Mommies and my 4yr old made Kool-aid for his friends.I made Mac and Cheese and a Pasta salad and that was it.My friends all brought fun things to eat lots of cookies and treats.When the kids arrived I had my jump house set up and I have a playstucture and merry go round so they we all having blast.Once everyone arrived I called them all in and I sang some songs with the kids and my son and Daughter(4and2) got our resurection eggs and opened each one telling the story of Jesus to all their friends.While this was happening a few of my friends hid the eggs everyone brought.The kids(ages 5-1) were let out side in order of age youngest first.The older ones were told once they had 12 eggs to help the little ones.They all came inside to check out what they found(as chocolate and playdough can kill a dog)Then I served a little lunch.As everyone was finishing, a friend showed up with a real bunny each child took turns having their picture taken with the real bunny before they left.It was a non stressful free party.my decorations were my basic Easter decorations and fresh flowers.
