This year for my sons Easter party I decided to have an Easter Bunny theme. I started with the invitations.  I made two different invitations. One to be hand delivered and the other to be mailed. For the hand delivered invitations I took blue and pink plastic eggs and hot glued fun foam ears, fun foam feet, fun foam hands, googly eyes, small pom pom nose, pom pom tail, and pipe cleaners to the eggs to look like a bunny.  I then took a piece of white fun foam and cut out a rectangle and wrote on the front Hop On Over To A Bunnyrific Party! On the back I wrote all of the party info.  I then taped the sign to the bunnies hand and put a bunny finger puppet in each egg.(orientaltrading.com)  For the mailed invitations I took a piece of cardstock and cut it to the size I needed. Then I stuck letter stickers on the front that said Hop on Over To A..... I then placed a bunny that looked like it was hopping over the letters.  On the back I placed letter stickers at the top that said Bunnyrific Party!  I then wrote all the info underneath. I then placed them in an envelope along with a bunny finger puppet and sealed them with a bunny sticker.  For the decorations I started with the front yard. I cut bunny shapes from cardboard then painted on the details added a cotton ball tail duct taped a wooden dowel rod to the back taped plastic wrap over the whole bunny then stuck them in the ground. (The plastic wrap protects them from the weather.)  I also attached a small plastic basket to some of the bunnies hands and placed a few plastic eggs in the basket and on the ground. I took sidewalk chalk and made bunny foot prints leading to my front porch.  I hung carrots from my railings and around my porch. ( I made the carrots by taking a pencil and pressing it into the sides of a styrofoam cone and then painted them orange.  I then took a cork painted it green and hot glued it to the flat part of the cone. Then I took green cellophane and attched it to the cork to make it look like the top of a carrot. Finally I attached fishing line to each one.)  For the inside decorations I hung carrots (same as the outside) from the ceiling a big cardboard bunny by the entrance (I cut a bunny from cardboard and then painted on the detals. I placed Easter grass around the bottom along with a few plasitc eggs.) bunny garland around the door ways (I cut bunny shapes from construction paper glued on a cottom ball tail and stapled them onto a long piece of yarn)  For the kids table I had a blue table cloth with bunnies on it bunny plates plastic cups with bunnies on them orange silverware a salt dough bunny and a basket filled with carrot shaped candies Easter Bunny mylar balloons tied to the back of each chair and a bunny jar filled with jelly beans. (For the bunny jars I cut a head ears feet and arms from fun foam and hot glued them onto a clean baby food jar. I then glued on a cotton ball tail googly eyes pink nose and pipecleans. )  For the food table I had a green table cloth bunny garland on the front Easter houses and salt dough bunnies. (I made the Easter houses from empty half gallon milk jugs. I cut the top off the milk jug and turned it upside down.  Then I cut out a door and several windows.  I taped yellow cellophane to the back of the windows to make it look like the lights were on. I then hot glued an empty cereal box that I cut into a shape of a roof to the top of the jug.  Next I painted the jugs and hot glued them to a small piece of cardboard.  Finally I decorated the houses with jelly bean stickers egg stickers Easter grass and small carrots made from small corks and cellophne.)  When the guests started to arrive I had each child pose by the cardboard bunny for a picture. Then I had the kids make bunny ears (dltk-kids.com) and bunny Easter baskets.  (For the baskets the kids painted empty plastic cereal bowls. They then glued on a fun foam head ears feet pom pom nose pipe cleaner whiskers and a cotton ball tail. I then stapled on a strip of contruction paper to each basket for the handle. After everyone arrived and fished their crafts it was time for lunch. We had Easter Bunny bread (tasteofhome.com) Bunny pizza (I cut ear shapes from pizza dough then pinched them to round pizza dough and added cheese pepperoni eyes pepper mouth and pepperoni bow to each one.) carrot cake cupcakes carrot and bunny shaped fruit rice crispy treats and cookies. (I used a cookie cutter to make the shapes.) After lunch we played a few games. Hopping Bunnies-Each kid put on their ears and a pair of bunny feet then had to hop to the finish the line. The kids loved this game so much that we ended up playing it three times. (I made the feet by cutting a hole into an empty tissue box then decorating it to look like bunny feet.)  Bunny Ring Toss-The kids had to try and toss bunny shaped rings onto dowel rods.  Whoever got the most on won.  (I made this game by attaching a dowel rod to a block of wood then painting it. For the rings I bought plastic rings(Dollar Store) and hot glued foam ears pom pom nose googly eyes and cotton ball tail to each one.) Feed The Bunny-I painted a bunnies face onto a cardboard box and cut a hole out for the mouth.  The kids had to try and toss plastic carrots into the bunnies mouth. Whoever got the most in won.   The prizes for the games were chocolate bunnies bunny bubbles bunny shaped chalk and bunny paddle balls. After games the kids decorated hardboiled eggs using crayons stickers and makers.  Once they were done we placed the eggs in their bunny baskets. Finally we had an egg hunt.  I hid a bunch of plastic eggs outside in my yard. I sectioned it off into three age groups. Three and Under Four-Six and Seven and up. I filled the eggs with candy bunny erasers stickers fruit snacks balls slinkies stretchy bunnies and bunny tattoos. After the egg hunt we went back inside and made picture frames.  Each child got a egg shaped frame and Easter stickers. (Michael's) (I made the frames from fun foam.  I just traced and cut the shape I wanted.) Once they were done I placed their picture I took earlier in their frame. I then gave each child their cup balloon baskets  bunny ears and bunny feet.  Then it was time to go home. All the kids had a lot of fun and they can't wait until next years party.  "
