We are having a "Mixed-up Holiday Party" for my daughter's 8th birthday. At a park we will have an "Independence Day Cookout" with hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, Sparklers, etc. We have American flags, Easter eggs, Valentine hearts, St. Pat's shamrocks, Christmas stockings, and Halloween spiders to hang to decorate the picnic shelter. When the children arrive they will receive a "Halloween" mask and decorate a "Trick-or-Treat" bag. They will use that bag to put their "Easter Eggs" (plastic filled with treats and treasures) in during our "Easter Egg Hunt." We will play "Pin the Star on Top of the Christmas Tree" which will be painted on butcher paper and posted on a large cork board for easy pinning. We will play "Holiday BINGO" with cards made at home from holiday clip art. The prizes for the tree game and BINGO will be wrapped in assorted holiday wrapping paper and placed under a small Christmas tree. After everyone wins a prize each child will open his/her "present." We will end wit assorted sugar cookies decorated for different holidays and a true "Birthday Cake."
