St Patrick's Day Party I decorated a lighted arch with 62 green ballons, use any color according to theme.  To attach ballons you blow up two, tie them together and use third blown up ballon to attach to arch by tying around middle of two attached ballons and arch. You can obtain a swirl affect if you use an additional color, two of one color and the third a different color. Rotate the new color so it goes around arch in a swirl affect, ballons can be moved a little after tying. All ballons were attached to the back of arch. Decorate front with garland, Happy St Patty's Day Signs, etc. I used two long planters to put end of arch in and filled with sand for support.  The planters can be decorated with moss, flowers, yard signs for the ocassion and foil shred. This made a great picture spot.  Use two plastic tablecloths for backdrop, coordinating color.    We played a cool game.  We had a trash bag with clothing, hats, boas, and costumes, the funnier the better. Choose hats, wigs, ties and misc so varies size people can find articles. Get in a circle like musical chairs, and have a jam box in center.  Person in center starts music not watching where bag is, and then stops music the person holding the bag must put on an article of clothing out of the bag.  They may look in the bag but only take one article out and put in on. If a person throws the bag or mistreats bag according to majority vote of all participants, they must put on an article of clothing.  The one with the most clothing on loses.  This can be very comical. Ask friends to bring a few items of funny clothing to help you obtain at least 50 items..  Second game is played with a deck of cards per table.  All tables need plastic spoons, one less than number of people at table. Spoons are placed in the center of table.  A dealer is chosen to deal four cards per person. The object of the game is to get all 4 Kings, Queens, two's any number. When this is obtained that persons sneaks a spoon all others may obtain a spoon at this time rather they have four of a kind or not. Dealer picks up a card and passes one he does not want to person on his left and everyone else does the same, at the same time.  Person not getting a spoon gets a letter if your spelling out something. Or if drinking must take a shot. Person with the most letters must do what ever you chose, sing, dance, etc. to give four card to each person
